Lionel Messi’s father and agent Jorge Messi has met with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to discuss possible transfer negotiations.
Jorge Messi, who acts as his sons ‘agent’ was invited onto Abramovich’s ‘super yacht’ to talk business

A file picture taken on on October 31, 2011, shows Russian billionaire and Chelsea football club owner Roman Abramovich smiling during a break in proceedings at the High Court in central London. Abramovich is acquiring a 7.3 percent stake in mining giant Norilsk Nickel to help end a long running shareholder dispute, a statement said today.
Messi was sentenced to 21 years jail and fined €2 million fine for tax fraud. Due to Spanish law, the five time FIFA Ballon d’Or winner will avoid jail time due to his sentence not exceeding over two years –similar to the recent case involving Barcelona and Argentine team-mate Javier Mascherano.

The Sun reports that Messi feels let down with the way FC Barcelona handled his case, believing they could have done more to support their star man.
Lionel Messi leaves the courthouse followed by his father Jorge Horacio Messi (2nd R) and his brother Rodrigo Messi (R) on June 2, 2016 in Barcelona, Spain. Lionel Messi and his father Jorge Messi, who manages his financial affairs, are accused of defrauding the Spanish Tax Agency of 4.1 million Euros ($4.6 million, £3.2 million) by using companies based in tax havens such as Belize and Uruguay to conceal earnings from image rights during years 2007 to 2009.Lionel and Jorge will appeal the charges laid by Spanish authorities, which could see them walk out on the country they have called home for so long.

The Catalans are at risk of losing their greatest ever player, who has scored 453 goals and 178 assists in 531 games for the club.
