Zinedine Zidane has jetted away on holiday for a summer vacation

  • Real head coach Zinedine Zidane has jetted out of Madrid for a well-earned break following his side's Champions League triumph. 
    The Frenchman was joined by his wife - Veronique - as he flew out of Barajas Airport ahead of his summer holidays. 
    Zidane was pictured wheeling suitcases just days after bagging Real Madrid's 10th European Cup.

    The 43-year-old led his side to a Champions League final win just five months after taking up the reins at the Santiago Bernabeu. 
    Zidane has had a whirlwind few months since having to step in to fill the void left by Rafa Benitez. 
    The former Real Madrid manager saw his side miss out on the Spanish title by just one point. 
    Real defeated neighbours Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday in what proved to be a tense affair in Milan's San Siro. 
    Sergio Ramos opened the scoring for Real before Atletico substitute Yannick Carrasco equalised. 
    The match was decided by penalties with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring the winning spot-kick. 
    Zidane is likely to be keeping an eye on Euro 2016 in his native France during his vacation with the tournament getting underway next Friday.
