Mesut Özil had a nice message for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger after Germanys Euro 2016 exit

Ozil speaks with Wenger post-game

After the glory of the World Cup in Brazil, Mesut Özil had to endure some tournament heartbreak last night, as Germany were knocked out of the Euros by France at the semi-final stage.
Germany were fancied as favourites to win the tournament and complete a World Cup-Euros double, but they came unstuck against a dynamic French outfit last night.
Ozil was consoled by Arsenal teammates Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny at full-time, and once he was showered and changed, he then spoke to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and former Gunner Robert Pires.

Ozil going for France

Working as a pundit for beIN Sports, Wenger revealed that Ozil gave his backing to France in the final.
With Germany now out of the competition, Wenger says Ozil told him ‘I hope you go on and win it now’, which was a nice show of support for his club manager.

Well, at any rate, he doesn’t have any Portuguese teammates to support
