Zinedine Zidane rules out a transfer involving top Real Madrid performer

Zidane wants to keep Isco around
The French manager spoke about other rumors linking Serie A players to Los Blancos during the opening of his football academy in Turin.

Despite the fact that players like James Rodriguez and Isco might be interested in leaving Real Madrid prior to the start of next season, French coach Zinedine Zidane dismissed such a possibility earlier today.
Speaking to Italian journalists who attended the opening ceremony of his football academy, "Zizou" stepped up and denied rumors about the possible transfers involving his players or possible signings. Particularly, Isco's situation with Los Blancos will not be changing anytime soon, according to the 1998 World Cup winner.
"Isco is our player and he's not going anywhere. We haven't offered him to Juventus or any other club. We'll speak with him first and see what's on his mind," Zidane stated.
The player born in Málaga saw his playing time reduced under Zidane.

The French manager even had time to talk about two players that have been linked to Los Blancos recently: Alvaro Morata and Paul Pogba. Despite rumors about Real Madrid paying the buyback clause in Morata's contract to have him around next season, Zidane hinted that La Vecchia Signora may not want the player gone.
"He's developed superbly in Italy, he's done quite a fine job with Juventus. Nevertheless, he's working with them as of now, and I believe they want to keep him around at least for one more year," the coach added.
Meanwhile , Paul Pogba's name emerged as one of the options to fortify Real Madrid's squad. Zidane had kind words for his compatriot, but denied Los Blancos' intention to sign the midfielder for the time being.
"Pogba is a fine player. I believe all teams in the world would like to have him around. Unfortunately for us, he is a Juventus player, and we are not entertaining the possibility of signing him right now," the coach concluded.
