I Want To Play In Champions League Admits Stoke City Star

Marko Arnautovic admits he is keen to play in the Champions League once again and is hoping he can realise his ambition in the future.

The Austria international has established himself as a regular fixture at Stoke City and clocked up 34 appearances in the Premier League for the Potters last season, scoring eleven goals in the process, while providing his team-mates with six assists.

His performances have not gone unnoticed and the former Inter man has been linked with French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

And Arnautovic admits he does want to turn out on the grandest stage of all, the Champions League, once again.

"I hope of course that it [playing in the Champions League] will happen again", the forward, who turned out in the Champions League for Werder Bremen and FC Twente, told SPORTNET

"Every footballer wants to play in the Champions League because it is the best there is, it's that simple.

"I hope I will succeed in the near future", the Austria star added.

Arnautovic could boost interest in his services if he shines for Austria at Euro 2016 this summer.

Austria have been placed in Group F in the tournament, alongside Portugal, Iceland and Hungary.
