In the past few days, the media has been flooded with stories after stories of reported violence emanating from the southeastern part of Nigeria.

A case of some suspected Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) agitators allegedly attacking a mosque in Abia state was reported, causing some tension in the country.

An Igbo soldier, Okoro Sebastian Citwenty, who was deployed to the north to fight Boko Haram, decided to send a message to Igbos, warning them to stop attacking the northerners in the southeast; telling them that a reprisal attack by the Hausas would be inevitable if they continue.

Okoro asked them to consider their brothers living in the north, and to also know that wars are not a nice situation. Sharing his post, he wrote:

"If you see my face you will know that I'm not really happy, the way my (igbo) brothers are attacking me everywhere mostly on social media just because of this Biafra issues why? Where are we coming from and where are we going?

We haven’t finished Boko Haram problem, now east have started their own. East is no more safe, don't let anger of the ones Boko Haram caused Nigerian army to descend on eastern parts. It is going to be worse.

Stop the fight for the sake of your brothers in the north, you that still wants to abuse me just because I'm a soldier go on. If you experience war you will never pray for war to happen, if you see war life go tire you, I'm just advising you guys.

Remember that your Igbo brothers are here in the north too. If Hausas start their own on them it will be worse."
