A young lady has given many people the shock of their lives after she went on a rampage, killing her own mother.
Heather Mack confessed to killing her mom and claims she framed Tommy Schaefer
A young woman identified as Heather Mack has made a chilling jailhouse confession as she admitted killing her mom and blackmailing her boyfriend to help stuff the body into a suitcase.
According to Daily Star UK, Heather Mack, a 21-year-old, who is serving 10 years in prison for being an accessory to her mom’s death, recorded a video from behind bars where she claims to come clean about the crime.
She accuses her mom Shelia von Wiese-Mack, 62, of killing her father Jim, and claims she decided to kill her to avenge his death.
Videos uploaded to YouTube has Mack talking to the camera and claiming she framed her boyfriend Tommy Schaefer, 22, for the killing in 2014.
Mack was pregnant at the time of the killing and has since given birth to a daughter in prison.
Mack, from Chicago, claims in the video she acted alone and her boyfriend who is currently serving 18 years in prison for murder is innocent.
She tells the camera she “does not want to live a lie anymore” and regrets her boyfriend serving a prison sentence.
The 21-year-old said: “I trapped him here. And that is what I regret. I don’t regret killing my mother. And as evil, as that may sound that’s my reality.
“I regret bringing Tommy into it. I regret being selfish. I regret trapping an innocent person into this because it was my battle – it was my mother, my father.”
Mack claims she killed her mother on her own in three videos uploaded from prison in Indonesia.
She then told her boyfriend she would tell the police he murdered her unless he helped clean the murder scene in a hotel room in Bali, during a holiday in Indonesia.
Her father died on a family holiday in 2006, and Mack claims she wanted revenge on her mother.
She said: “I made it up in my heart, in my mind, my soul, in my blood, in the oxygen running through my body that I wanted to kill my mother.”
“After that, I got this whole new savage idea in my head that I wanted to kill her in a hotel room because she had killed my father in a hotel room.”
Mack says she conspired with lawyers to encourage her boyfriend to plead guilty, as if he did not he would face the death penalty.
Her mother’s sister, Debbi Curran, says Mack’s claims are untrue.
She said: “Since the brutal murder of my dear sister, Sheila, two and a half years ago, our family has had to endure endless lies about what actually happened in Bali.
“Heather Mack’s stories about her relationship with her mother and the events in Bali have changed so many times; it is impossible to discern truth from deception.
“However, her accusation about Sheila killing Jim is completely false. Sheila loved Jim very deeply and was devastated by his death.”
