Footballers are known to be very rich and considering the wages many of them collects every week, it is expected that women will flock around them everytime.
Looking at the number of single ladies in the world, it is not expected that these players should be flexing muscle with themselves over one considering the level of their wealth.
There are players who have been involved in some nocturnal acts towards the women of their teammates, and here we look at some that could be embarrassing.
1. Mesut Ozil Since the year 2013 that the German international signed for Arsenal, Ozil has been a
delight to watch for all premier League lovers most especially the Arsenal fans who would always want to see him play for the Gunners.
His reputation however was put into serious questioning and controversy when he was alleged to have slept with Melanie Rickinger who was the girlfriend of former Bayern Munich defender Christian Lell.
Lell accused the Gunner of having an affair with his woman, although the Arsenal player refused to comment on the allegation.
2. Thibaut Courtois Back in 2013, Chelsea stopper Thibaut Courtois was alleged to have had an affair with Kevin De Bruyne’s girlfriend named Caroline Lijnen.
It was learnt that Bruyne was irked when he got notified, although Courtois denied the allegation.
3. Michael Ballack Former Chelsea star Michael Ballack was seriously accused to have had an affair with the girlfriend of Christian Lell when both were teammates at the German national team.
The accusation then in 2007 almost made Ballack to lose his position as the German captain as he was bitterly criticized.
4. Jordan Ayew Jordan Ayew is one of the best African players who currently play for Aston Villa in the premier League. It was a sad situation when reports suggested that he had slept with his teammate’s girlfriend.
The player was alleged to have had a four-year-affair with Amanda who was the wife of Ghana teammate Afriye Acquah.
