Real Madrid defeated Legia 5 – 1 at the Santiago Bernabeu. Gareth Bale opened the scored with Marcelo adding a second when his attempt was deflected into the net.

Radovic scored a penalty a minute after Marcelo’s goal and there was no stopping Madrid from then on with Asencio, Vazquez and Morata adding the final goals.

However, there was to be no Ronaldo goal, as he saw numerous opportunities wasted in the second half. And Zidane reacted:  “Everyone wants Cristiano to score three, four, five goals.

He had many chances tonight, [but] he scored on Saturday and will score next weekend.” The coach stressed: “We all expect more from Cristiano and he knows that. We want him to score three or four.

There was no goal today but he got two assists and I also like that.” The former Real Madrid midfielder concluded: “I’m happy with the result, with goals. It is clear that we can improve.”
