 – Silva is the current PSG captain, he join from AC Milan in 2012  The agent of Brazilian defender Thiago Silva has suggested that he could join Chelsea next summer after revealing he could choose to leave current club Paris Saint Germain at the end of his contract.

32-year-old Silva who is PSG’s captain will see his contract expire on June 30th 2017 if PSG don’t qualify for the Champions League. Paulo Tonietto

– Silva’s representative, speaking to ​Sport Witness said that while no talks have been held with Chelsea as it stands, his client is a fan of the Premier League and there are currently no discussions with PSG over an extension to Silva’s contract.

He said: “Chelsea are a big club. And the English league is the best in the world. “We’re not negotiating a new contract, let’s see what happens before December. 

Thiago’s deal ends on June 30th 2017 if PSG don’t qualify for the Champions League. Everything is possible in football.” Chelsea are on the look out for a new defender as Antonio Conte sees his backline as being low on quality. 

The Blues resigned David Luiz from PSG at the end of the last transfer window and have been linked with Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus and Burnley’s Michael Keane over the last few weeks. Silva, however, could provide a cheaper alternative if he does choose to leave Paris next summer.
