Philippe Coutinho’s warning to Chelsea ahead of Liverpool clash

Philippe Coutinho has warned Chelsea that Liverpool are feeling full of confidence as they prepare for Friday night’s clash at Stamford Bridge.

The Reds have been in good form in the Premier League in recent weeks and thrashed defending champions Leicester City 4-1 at Anfield on Saturday night.
The only blip on their record this term is their loss to Burnley last month, with the Reds having beaten Arsenal and drawn with Tottenham.
And Coutinho feels that Liverpool’s strong start to the season stands them in good stead as they prepare for their trip to west London on Friday night.
Speaking in an interview with Liverpool’s website, Coutinho said: “We’re on the right track, we’ve started the season well.
“Of course we’ve dropped points, but the competition is very long [and] we’ve beaten teams that, theoretically, will be up there fighting for the title, so that boosts our confidence, and the fans’ confidence. That’s very important.”
Liverpool finished eighth in the Premier League table under Jurgen Klopp last season after the German coach was brought in as Brendan Rodgers’ replacement last October.

The Merseyside outfit also reached the Europa League and League Cup finals but failed to win either competition.
