Bastian Schweinsteiger is staying upbeat about his situation at Manchester United

Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social media to reveal that he is staying in a positive mood despite the uncertainty surrounding his future at Manchester United beyond the summer transfer window.

Schweinsteiger was not included in the Manchester United squad as Jose Mourinho led his side to Community Shield victory over Leicester City at Wembley last weekend.

There has been plenty of speculation about Schweinsteiger’s future at Old Trafford following Mourinho’s appointment as the club’s new manager.

However, it appears that the German midfielder is refusing to let his situation get him down.

Schweinsteiger shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Thursday afternoon and wrote: “After my daily workout I am enjoying the rest of the day here in Manchester. Hope you all have a great day!”

It remains to be seen whether the World Cup winner will be included in the United squad for their Premier League opener against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
