MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly made a £60million bid for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba
Paul Pogba could apparently link up with Jose Mourinho at Man United this summer
The French international has enjoyed another impressive season at Juventus, scoring 10 goals in 49 appearances.
His fine form has seen him linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, with Chelsea and Manchester City both interested in his signature.
But now United appear to be leading the race for the 23-year-old.
The Sun claim new Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has sanctioned a £60m bid for the Juve midfielder.
The report claims United’s offer is a British transfer record, worth an initial £48m with £12m in add-on payments.
Mourinho apparently wants the Frenchman to be his first signing in his planned United rebuild.
Pogba could now be set to re-join the club he left in 2012 to move to Juve.
The Frenchman’s move to Italy was shrouded in controversy, with then-manager Sir Alex Ferguson claiming the midfielder had failed to show United any respect.
