CR7 donates entire UCL bonus to charity

The Portuguese ace scored the last penalty for Real Madrid, giving Los Blancos their eleventh continental title against Atlético Madrid.
Even if some people believe that Cristiano Ronaldo thinks too highly of himself, he doesn't forget there are others who need more than him.
Earlier today, reports from Spain revealed that the Portuguese superstar had donated his entire €600,000 UEFA Champions League bonus to an NGO elected by the player's agent, Jorge Mendes.
Spanish journalist Pipi Estrada revealed Cristiano Ronaldo's gesture and how he came up with the idea.
"Cristiano Ronaldo donated his UEFA Champions League bonus today, all €600,000. He had spoken about it with Jorge Mendes even before the final game. He told him that, if Real Madrid won, Mendes should take that money and spread it around to those who need it most," Estrada revealed.
Last year, Cristiano Ronaldo was named the Most Charitable Sports Star by Dosomething.org. The list included superstars like Serena Williams, Neymar, Lebron James and Maria Sharapova. The organisation praised Ronaldo's gestures away from the pitch, which included donating $83,000 to a fan who needed brain surgery and funding a Portuguese cancer-treatment center that treated his mother.
