JOSE MOURINHO is set for a clear-out when he starts work in earnest at Manchester United, according to reports.

United ended months of speculation linking Mourinho to the Old Trafford job by announcing him as their new manager on Friday.
The Portuguese took over from Louis van Gaal who was sacked four days previous.
The Dutchman's final act was to lift the FA Cup at Wembley after a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Wembley.

But it was his failure to qualify for the Champions League which proved to be Van Gaal's downfall.

But according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, the former Real Madrid will be as busy waving players out of the door as welcoming new ones through it.

The Spaniard was said to be forced out of Stamford Bridge by Mourinho when he joined United and now the boss has joined him at Old Trafford his departure is said to be possible once again.
The other players said to be leaving are Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo, Memphis Depay, Sergio Romero and Antonio Valencia.
