Jose Mourinho arrives for his first day as Manchester United manager



Jose Mourinho arrived at Manchester United's training ground on 
30 May to meet staff and get a tour from Ed Woodward, United's 
executive vice-chairman .
While on the tour, Mourinho was greeted by Sir Bobby Charlton. 
The Red Devils legend said, "I'm very happy, very happy to see you,
" as he welcomed the 53-year-old to the club.
The Portuguese manager signed a three-year contact with 
Manchester United, with an option to stay at the club all the 
way up until the end 2020 season. His contract is thought to be 
worth around £12m ($18m, €16m) annually, withBONUSES.
This is Mourinho's first venture since being sacked as manager 
of Chelsea in December 2015. Hereplaces Louis Van Gaal after 
the Dutchman spent two years at the club. Van Gaal was dismissed
 from his role at Manchester United just two daysafter he helped them 
lift the FA Cup, in a win against Crystal Palace at Wembley.
Jose Mourinho's initial appointment was held up due to image rights issues, 
as 'the special one's' endorsement
