Luis Suarez: My thoughts on Brendan Rodgers' move to Celtic

LUIS SUAREZ has had his say on Celtic's decision to hire Brendan Rodgers as manager.

The Barcelona striker believes the Scottish champions have hired 'one of the best coaches in Europe' after Rodgers signed a 12-month rolling contract yesterday.
Suarez played under Rodgers for two seasons during his time at Liverpool and came within two points of winning the Premier League during the 2013/14 campaign.
And the Uruguay international, who scored 59 goals for Barca this season, insists he wouldn't be the player he is today without Rodgers' influence.
He said: "Brendan is one of the best coaches in Europe and I am not surprised he is looking to get back in to the game because it is a game he loves.
"If it wasn't for Brendan, then I know I would not be the same player that you see at Barcelona today. Such a big part of my education is down to him and his management."
Rodgers' first task will be to guide the Hoops through the qualifying stages of the Champions League but he will also have to fend off Rangers' title challenge on their return to the top flight
