Confirmed Lineups: Chelsea vs Spurs

Mauricio Pochettino

Tottenham Hotspur need their first-ever Premier League win at Stamford Bridge this evening if they are to extend the title race for another week.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are nine points behind the proverbial champions Leicester City with three games remaining for the North London side.
Chelsea can be party spoilers on bank holiday Monday by avoiding defeat at home to their close rivals.  Guus Hiddink has two more games in charge of the Blues after this evening.
Here are the two confirmed lineups for this evening’s match:

Chelsea

Asmir Begović; Branislav Ivanović, Gary Cahill, John Terry, César Azpilicueta; John Obi Mikel, Nemanja Matić, Willian, Cesc Fàbregas, Pedro; Diego Costa
Substitutes: Marco Amelia, Baba Rahman, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Kenedy, Oscar, Eden Hazard, Bertrand Traore
John Terry is back in the starting lineup for the first time since mid-March following a six week spell on the sidelines.  The Club captain’s return sees a shuffle in the Chelsea defence.
Eden Hazard is only named among the substitutes for the home side who have Pedro starting on the left wing this evening.

Tottenham Hotspur

Hugo Lloris; Kyle Walker, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose; Eric Dier, Mousa Dembélé, Érik Lamela, Christian Eriksen, Heung-min Son; Harry Kane
Substitutes: Michel Vorm, Ben Davies, Kevin Wimmer, Tom Carroll, Nacer Chadli, Ryan Mason, Clinton N’Jie
Heung-min Son is in for the suspended Dele Alli which sees Christian Eriksen switch into the number 10 role behind Harry Kane in the only change from last Monday’s 1-1 draw at home to West Bromwich Albion.

Eden Hazard On Bench – Chelsea Team vs Tottenham Hotspur Confirmed

Fixture: Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur

Competition: Premier League
Kick-off: 20:00 (UK time)

Chelsea have confirmed their starting line-up and substitutes to play host to Tottenham Hotspur in a Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge tonight.

Interim Blues manager Guus Hiddink is keen for his side to end Spurs' title hopes this evening and has Diego Costa to lead his side's attack. He will be supported by Pedro Rodriguez, Cesc Fabregas and Willian. Nemanja Matic lines up with John Obi Mikel in midfield and will look to win the possession battle. Captain John Terry partners Gary Cahill in the centre of defence.

On the bench, Hiddink can call for Eden Hazard if needed, while Oscar and Bertrand Traore are two other attack minded options for the Dutchman.

Chelsea head into the game against their London rivals on the back of a 4-1 thrashing of Bournemouth last weekend. The Blues are aiming to end the campaign on a high after a season to forget.
