striker Daniel Sturridge has urged the club to bring some star names to
Anfield this summer and make the current crop of players fight for
their places.
The
England international has been in and out of the team under Jurgen
Klopp but played a starring role on Thursday as the Reds defeated
Villarreal to reach the Europa League final.
And speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Sturridge reiterated the need for Liverpool to strengthen this summer.

The Reds have failed to replace Luis Suarez since he moved to Barcelona, where his is the top scorer

said: 'Before I was playing with Suarez and - no disrespect to the
[current] players - he is now at Barcelona and scoring loads of goals.
'The same goes for the other players who have moved on, like Raheem [Sterling]. I was fighting to be in the side.
