Wizkid's elder sister loses husband (photos)

The singer’s elder sister Yetunde Balogun just lost his husband Seun Rowland Awoniyi. Wizkid’s brother-in-law died in a US hospital on Sunday October 9, 2016 after a long battle with cancer.

It was gathered that Awoniyi had been down with cancer for a while.  He is survived by his wife and two children.

Awoniyi was a graduate of Geology from University of Ibadan.

n July, late Awoniyi had posted on his Instagram photos of him on the hospital bed and still thankful to God. He captioned it: ‘I always Thank God for the gift of life, when I look back. Still living… Oluwaseun!!!’ Meanwhile, Wizkid and Linda Ikeji have been nominated in the same category at the forthcoming MAMA 2016 to be held in Johannesburg.
