Yeah, yeah, yeah. We have seen tons of tests and articles relating colors and personality but, why do we keep clicking on them? What is this fascination with colors and our traits.
The University of Kent conducted a study that suggests links between your color preference and your personality, so we gathered the vox populi and gave you your personality traits according to your favorite color.
If red is your color of choice you are probably a very passionate individual. Powerful, energetic, desirable, strong and powerful.
The negative traits of the color red are aggression, danger, fire, blood, war, violence, and too much intensity.
Yellow lovers are believed to be joyful, optimists, happy, idealists, creative and hopeful.
The negative side to yellow is a tendency for dishonesty, betrayal and jealousy.
if you prefer the color green, you are probably an outdoors kind of person, a lover of nature and a conscious environmentalist. This color makes you a lucky person and inspires youth, renewal, vigor, generosity and fertility.
The negative aspects of it are jealousy, envy, and sometimes misfortune.
Blue is a color or peace, harmony, unity, trust, truth, security, confidence, conservatism, order, technology, cleanliness, loyalty, stability and masculinity.
The downside to blue is a tendency for depression and sadness, melancholy.
If you prefer purple as your color of choice you are probably very misterious, love magic, transformation and wisdom.
On the down side, purple can be a sign or anger, vengeance and childish behavior.
Orange is your color so you are energetic, balanced, warm, an enthusiast, a high vitality person that always searches for expansion.
The down side of orange is a tendency to be flamboyant which can be quite annoying. It is also a color that can inspire fear and aggression.
Believe it or not, gray is a pretty stable color. Although in the dark side it displays traits of safety, reliability, intelligence, modesty, dignity, maturity, soundness, functionality and old age.
The down side of gray is a tendency to melancholy and grief.
Brown is the color of Earth, hearth, home, outdoors, reliability, comfort, endurance, stability, simplicity, comfort, trees, nature and autumn.
Negative traits associated with brown are shyness, solitude and coldness.
Physics can say what they want, but to us, black and white are colors. If you can buy a black dress or a white t-shirt, they are colors. Whatever they absorb or not fits on a science class, not here.
So if you love white, you are probably a pretty clean and peaceful person. Precise, with a sense of innocence and goodness about you. Not a complicated soul at all.
The bad traits of white is a tendency to be cold, clinical and sterile.
Power, sophistication, formality, elegance, wealth, mystery are some of the awesome traits of the color (although not really a color, but you know what we mean) black.
The bad traits associated with black are fear, evil, unhappiness, sadness, remorse, anger and grief.
Pink is the color of innocence, childish and magical. Adults that prefer this color are sweet and innocent, a little naive and immature.
