The Brazilian has been crowned as the best striker of all time by a huge margin in Goal's poll, with the 40-year-old seeing off the likes of Gerd Muller and Marco van Basten
It's official – a majority 63 per cent of Goal readers voted Brazil legend Ronaldo as the greatest No.9 in the history of football.

Almost 10,000 readers opted for former Barcelona, Inter and Real Madrid great Ronaldo, comfortably seeing him top the rankings ahead of Van Basten.
The Dutchman, who claimed 1,126 votes, is the closest challenger, with Gabriel Batistuta just behind him.
Missing out on a top-three finish is Muller with six per cent of the votes, with Eusebio, Ferenc Puskas and George Weah finishing behind the Germany legend.
