A 41-year-old woman has been jailed in the UK for defrauding several football players include former Nigeria international Osaze Odemwingie.

In total, Liddle stole more than N61.7m (£130,000) from Premier League stars, a top manager and two millionaire businessmen.

Liddle who lives a bogus lifestyle from her dubious earnings was sentenced to three years in jail.
She got 12 months for the first fraud on footballers and an additional 16 months consecutive on each of the other two scams, making a total of 44 months.

Other victims of her scam include Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom and former Celtic boss Tony Mowbray.
She escaped jail term in 2014 after she admitted to a £82,000 scam but she was caught stealing another £22,000 from the chairman of telecommunications giant Lebara and £33,000 from the boss of sales solutions firm Flixmedia.
