Eric Bailly sends a message to Paul Pogba after world-record signing's first Manchester United goal

 

Eric Bailly congratulated Paul Pogba on his first Manchester United goal after Saturday’s 4-1 victory over Leicester City at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils ended a two-game losing run in emphatic style as Jose Mourinho’s side brushed aside the challenge of the Premier League champions Leicester City.
Chris Smalling broke the deadlock with an early header before United midfielder Juan Mata finished off an impressive move to double the home side’s lead.
England teenager Marcus Rashford added a third for the hosts before Pogba guided a header into the net ahead of half-time to seal three points for Mourinho’s men.
The France international’s goal was his first since a world-record £89m move to the 20-time English champions from Serie A holders Juventus in the summer transfer window.


And Bailly, who completed a £30m transfer to United from La Liga side Villarreal in June, sent an Instagram message to Pogba following the midfielder’s goal.
Bailly posted the above photo and wrote the following caption:

United will host Stoke City at Old Trafford in their next Premier League game on 2 October.
