Mathieu Flamini signs for Premier League club

Flamini has signed for Crystal Palace on a free transfer  – The midfielder will wear the number four shirt for Palace  Crystal Palace have signed former Arsenal and AC Milan defensive midfielder Mathieu Flamini on a one year contract.


The 32-year-old Frenchman was released by Arsenal at the end of last season and was a free agent. The Frenchman played 246 times over two spells, including 24 times last season for the Gunners.

During his seven seasons in north London he helped Arsene Wenger’s men win three FA Cups and reach the 2006 UEFA Champions League final. He also played five years in Serie A with Milan, where he won the 2011 league title. He has also won three caps for his national side.
