JOSE MOURINHO is reportedly frustrated at Manchester United's failure to sign Portugal star Renato Sanches
United had lined up a move for Sanches before Mourinho replaced Louis van Gaal as boss.
But in May, Bayern Munich swooped for the teenager, signing him in a £27million deal which could eventually reach £60m.
And according to the Daily Record, United's failure to sign the 18-year-old has left Mourinho frustrated.
The report says Mourinho's predecessor Louis van Gaal did not want to sign former Benfica ace and United had asked the Portuguese side to delay selling him until the end of the season.
Since then, Sanches has gone on to demonstrate his enormous potential at Euro 2016.
After beginning the tournament on the bench, he started and scored against Poland in the quarter-final, earning the man-of-the-match award.
And he surpassed Ronaldo as the youngster player to appear in a UEFA European Championship final, playing 79 minutes last night as Portugal beat France in extra-time and he was also named Young Player of the Tournamen
