According to onlookers, the Special One was accosted by others apparently keen to cash in on his generosity
New Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho did a good deed when he handed an apparently homeless man £20 in Manchester city centre.
But the Special One's kindhearted gesture saw other bystanders began following him in an apparent attempt to cash in on his generosity.
Mourinho was walking through his new home city with one of his coaches on Friday when the incident took place.
The new United boss will earn £15million-a-year during his three year contract at Old Trafford.
And although he was charitable with one homeless man, the 53-year-old appeared to get a little fed up as he was continually pursued.
The man in black alongside Mourinho in the pictures, Emilio Alvarez Blanco, is one of the six new members of Mourinho's backroom team at Old Trafford.
The 44-year-old will work with goalkeeper David de Gea, who he developed during the Spaniard's early days in Atletico Madrid's senior set-up.
Alvarez joined Atletico in 2009 when De Gea was Atletico's third goalkeeper, but the then-teenager developed rapdily under Alvarez, emerging as Atleti's first-choice goalkeeper before leaving for Manchester United in 2011.
