- New boss Antonio Conte officially begins his spell in charge at the club
Chelsea have revealed their new away strip for the 2016-17 season, with a slightly unfamiliar design that features an unusual fabric, luminous yellow accents and horizontal stripes.
The west London club described the new kit on their official website, claiming 'the striking new design combines engineered mélange stripe fabric in grey and black with neon yellow accents, short shoulder stripes, a two-colour crest and an engineered collar tape featuring ‘Chelsea FC’ text.'
Chelsea have also unveiled their new third kit for next season, that boasts a far more simplistic style of white with royal blue accents around the neck and sleeves.
The replica shirts are priced on the official Chelsea online shop at £55, with the shorts £30 for adults and £25 for kids, and the socks £13. That means the full adult replica kit will cost fans £98.

Kenedy also posed in the kit as he hopes to make an impression under new boss Antonio Conte this summer
The 2016-17 season will be the last season that adidas provide the kits for Chelsea, as they are set to sign a kit sponsorship contract with Nike worth £60million-per-year in what will be the second biggest deal in the Premier League.
The Blues announced in May that they are parting company with the manufacturing giants at the end of next season, after the pair decided to terminate their current deal six years early.
Adidas' shirt deal was worth £30million annually - a figure that will be doubled by their American sportswear rivals, despite the fact Chelsea won't be competing in Europe next season.
The away kit features a 'melange fabric' that was specifically engineered for Chelsea's grey and black colours
Following the announcement on their official Twitter page, Blues fans voiced their opinions on the new away strip and it's fair to say that they were less than impressed.
Comparisons to pyjamas and cheap sweaters were made, alongside calls for Nike as the left field design wasn't appreciated as widely as the club would have hoped.
Elsewhere, Chelsea have officially begun under the leadership of Antonio Conte, as he and the players reported back for pre-season training on Monday.
The 46-year-old impressed with Italy at the European Championships, as the Azzurri surprised many to reach the quarter finals despite being widely expected to struggle in France.
After getting a closer look at their new man, Blues fans will be excited to see him monitoring the touchline at Stamford Bridge next season.
Former Juventus boss Conte was appointed as the new manager of Chelsea on a three-year-deal back in April
Speaking again on their official website, Chelsea stated: 'Members of the squad not involved in the knockout stages of Euro 2016 or the Copa America will undergo standard tests and get back to work on the Cobham training pitches.
The group will include the likes of John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Nemanja Matic, Oscar and Diego Costa, along with players who were on loan last season who will continue to build their fitness.
Those who were involved in the later stages of the major international tournaments will join up during pre-season, including our latest signing Michy Batshuayi, but those reporting first will be in every day this week before flying to Austria on Friday for a week-long training camp and friendlies against Rapid Vienna and RZ Pellets
