Euro Bale out: The Real Madrid star saw his teammates step up in Lille

Gareth Bale claimed Wales can write football's greatest ever international story by winning Euro 2016 after declaring "It's in our hands now".
Welsh superstar Bale faces Portugal fellow Real Madrid Galactico Cristiano Ronaldo in the semi-finals in Lyon on Wednesday for a place in next Sunday's Final at the Stade de France in Paris.
And after a night of intoxicating quarter-final drama as Wales swept aside star-studded Belgium 3-1 in Lille, Bale believes anything is now possible for Chris Coleman's incredible underdogs.
After shattering Belgium's Euro dream at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy a beaming Bale said: "It's in our hands now. It's just incredible - but we knew we had it in us.
"We're going to enjoy this victory but we can't afford to look past the semi-final, we just have to keep doing what we've been doing and we'll stick to that."
Bale, 26, watched skipper Ashley Williams, out of contract Reading striker Hal Robson-Kanu and substitute Sam Vokes score the goals to slay Marc Wilmot's Red Devils - then insisted the clash with Portugal isn't just Bale v Ronaldo.
"It's Portugal versus Wales, nothing more" said Bale.
But the world will tune in on Wednesday to see the showdown between two of the best three players in the world game.
And Bale believes the way Wales destroyed Belgium gives them every chance of reaching the Final.

"We've grown in confidence, we've been learning from maybe mistakes we've made before. I thought we dominated the first half against Belgium, we kept the ball very well and we felt very comfortable.
"We knew they are a very good side with a lot of talented individuals but we showed what a true team we are.
"We obviously had a game plan. We felt we knew Belgium well from previous games and we executed the plan amazingly. We covered every blade of glass and definitely deserved the win."
And the Bernabeu idol hopes Wales can do their fans proud - and make history by beating all the odds to reach the final.
The fans here and the fans back at home have been incredible. We love our fans we try to integrate with them all the time.
"It's going to be an amazing day when w eplay Portugal, we've already made history and hopefully we can make more. We're just enjoying being here, we're enjoying the ride.
"It's our time and we look forward to the semi-final. We're very proud at what the '58 team did. They had some amazing players.
"But we've always spoken that this is our time to shine. We've definitely done that."
