Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s first goal for Manchester United was a stunner

Manchester United made the right choice in signing former Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The 34-year-old stunned in his debut on Saturday, scoring just minutes into the game against Turkish side Galatasaray with a jaw-dropping bicycle kick.
The goal for the Swedish national came just four minutes after the referee blew the starting whistle. Ibrahimovic’s teammate Wayne Rooney would go on to add two more to the team’s tally to end the game, 3-1

The win certainly bodes well for the team’s new leadership under Jose Mourinho. The former Chelsea manager came in after last season, which saw Manchester United finish a disappointing fifth place in the Premier League.
“Jose’s been fantastic,” Rooney said before the game (via the Manchester Evening News).
“Training’s been really good and preparation has been going well; you can see why he’s been successful with the way he works and how he gets his message across. … We just want to get to the games now.”
Manchester United is scheduled to kick off their Premier League season against reigning champions Leicester City next weekend.
