Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has decided to stay and fight for his place at the club.
This has been reported by The Sun, who claim that Schweinsteiger is refusing to quit Old Trafford despite a below-par debut season on English soil.
Schweinsteiger, who represented Germany during Euro 2016, endured a torrid opening 12 months in Manchester, often failing to maintain his fitness.
Understandably, then, with Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho now at the helm, it has been documented that the 31-year-old could be set for pastures new.
Indeed, Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain have recently been linked with the midfielder, but it seems that he isn't going anywhere at this stage.
