Zlatan Ibrahimović has finally confirmed that he will signed for Manchester United.
The superstar has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for several weeks now but no movement seemed to be made whilst he was representing Sweden during Euro 2016.
United have yet to officially announce their latest signing as Ibrahimović broke the news on his Instgram account.
Ibrahimović wrote on his social media accounts:
“Time to let the world know. My next destination is Manchester United. I am coming.”
The 34-year-old has agreed a one-year deal with the Red Devils and will become the fourth Swede to play for United after Jesper Blomqvist, Bojan Djordjic and Henrik Larsson.
United boss José Mourinho has previously worked with the now former Swedish international during one season at Internazionale. He was then sold in an exchange deal for Samuel Eto’o with a young Marko Arnautović later arriving.
Zlatan Ibrahimović has been available on a free transfer this summer after his deal with Paris Saint-Germain expired. He spent four years in France – the longest spell he has remained at a club. He won Ligue 1 in each season, as well as two French Cups and three French League Cups.
He has previous experience in Sweden, Netherlands, Italy and Spain, as well as France.
Ibrahimović is coming off the best season of his career – scoring 38 goals in 31 French Ligue 1 appearance, and recording 13 assists on top of that.

The enigmatic striker also scored five goals and added three assists in eight UEFA Champions League appearances this past season, helping PSG reach the quarter-finals once again, before losing to Manchester City.
