That is despite Seluk consistently pushing talk of a reunion with Roberto Mancini.
Chinese Super League clubs were primed to attempt to prise Toure away with offers of staggering money - way in excess of his £240,000 a week at the Etihad Stadium - yet he wanted to continue playing in the Premier League.

Seluk suggested on Monday that any switch to Inter would be easier this time next year.
‘Inter are a great club and Mancini is a great Coach, but we still have to wait,’ he was quoted as saying.
‘There are two things holding up the move, substantially. City want to continue focusing on him and intend to keep him for next season, but this is normal because Yaya is a great player.
‘On top of that, the Nerazzurri are limited by Financial Fair Play.’
