Real, along with  and Paris Saint-Germain, have reportedly  to try and broker a deal for the Barcelona frontman.
Neymar is locked in contract talks with the Nou Camp club, who have told the Brazil international .
And United's hopes of landing the 23-year-old have been boosted after a move to Real was ruled out.
“The owners of Neymar are Barcelona. Any offers that arrive must go through Barcelona,” Neymar Snr. told Fox Brasil.

“We don’t have to talk about it because Neymar is under contract and the club know everything.
“The speculation is huge and it’s clear that Neymar is always involved in it. The fans know that several clubs are interested in their player, but that doesn’t mean we’re talking to anyone or trying something.
“The fans have already spoken more than 10,000 times about my son, plus Neymar is under contract with Barcelona and has two more years [on his contract]. That’s certain
“He must fulfil his contract with Barcelona. Neymar is very happy [there], but the speculation will continue for a long time and the fans have become used to it.
“The possibility [of Neymar joining Madrid] is zero. I respect [Wagner] a lot, but besides myself, the only person who can talk about Neymar’s career is the player."

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim United have a representative in South America trying to secure a deal for Neymar.
Barca have reacted by deploying director Raul Sanllehi, who originally signed Neymar from Santos in 2013, to Brazil to smooth over contract negotiations.
United have supposedly tabled a £13.5m-a-year deal for Neymar join new manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, while PSG's offer stands at £14.5m per season.
