Manchester United have made a firm offer for Paul Pogba [Duncan Castles]

Sir Alex Ferguson’s biggest mistake?
As the years pass on, increasingly, Manchester United’s decision to let Paul Pogba leave Old Trafford for Juventus on a free transfer looks like a catastrophic mistake.
Pundits have often described Pogba’s departure as Sir Alex Ferguson’s biggest mistake and the decision to allow the French midfielder to leave for Juventus haunts Manchester United.
Pogba has been an enormous success in Italy, winning a Serie A title during every season he has played for The Old Lady.

Manchester United make firm offer for Pogba

Meanwhile,

Manchester United once again failed to qualify for the Champions League, for the second time in three seasons.
On Thursday, Sunday Times journalist Duncan Castles has publicised an update on Pogba’s future and reports that Manchester United have a firm offer in for Pogba.
Castles is known to have links to Jose Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes and may well have been fed information by Pogba’s notorious representative, Mino Raiola.
According to Castles, Juventus are open to selling Pogba this summer but it is not clear where the Frenchman will end up.
Barcelona were considered to be favourites to sign Pogba but the Catalan giants do not appear to have the financial resources to sign the French midfielder.
The likes of Chelsea and Manchester City are not that keen on Pogba this summer and Castles claims the midfielder has two firm offers from Manchester United and PSG.
Pogba has said some less than flattering things about Manchester United since leaving the club and it would be a surprise to see him playing in the Europa League for anyone next season.
Nevertheless, Juventus have contacted Valencia’s Andre Gomes, in case Pogba does depart…
