Cristiano Ronaldo sent Neymar a Whatsapp message after Barcelona won La Liga

Good Guy Ronaldo

Spanish newspaper Sport today reported on a private message Cristiano Ronaldo sent to Neymar after Barcelona won La Liga on the final day.
Sources close to Neymar claim the 31-year-old Real Madrid forward sent his Brazilian rival a congratulatory Whatsapp message after Barcelona pipped Real Madrid to the title.
Having won just one La Liga title since joining ‘Los Blancos’ in 2009, the tone of the message sent by Cristiano Ronaldo was reportedly “polite and affectionate”.
Despite scoring 35 league goals, the Portuguese superstar also missed out on the Pichichi Trophy to Barcelona striker Luis Suarez – who netted 40 times in 35 games.

Ronaldo’s high profile supporter

Speaking in Dublin alongside Rory Mcllroy earlier this week, legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson weighed in on the Messi v Ronaldo debate

The 74-year-old Scotsman insisted Cristiano Ronaldo could score a hat-trick for Stockport County and suggested Lionel Messi can only do it at Barcelona.
Retired manager Sir Alex Ferguson was the man to bring a teenage Cristiano Ronaldo to Old Trafford and helped transform him into a Ballon d’Or winner
