Zlatan Ibrahimovic knew that joining Manchester United so late in his career would be a huge challenge on so many different levels.
But the Swedish striker has never shirked a challenge in his career and jumped at the opportunity to reunite with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford following his departure from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season.
Zlatan, who turns 35 today, has made a reasonably impressive start to his United career, with six goals netted in his first 11 appearances.
He’s also become an instant hero in the eyes of the United supporters.
According to ESPN’s Andy Mitten, merchandise bearing the former AC Milan and Barcelona superstar’s name is the best seller in the club’s shop and outside Old Trafford on the swag stalls.
ZLATAN FRUSTRATED WITH TWO THINGS AT UNITED
However, despite all that, there are two things about life at United that are frustrating the powerful forward.
“Like several players under Mourinho, Ibrahimovic has his frustrations,” Mitten explains. “He doesn't think United are fully playing to his strengths and the service he's received could be better.
“That has become clearer in recent matches and his frustration was publicly displayed against Zorya, when he urged Rooney to close down an opposing midfielder.”
Indeed, Zlatan was visibly annoyed by Rooney’s ‘attempt’ to press one of the Zorya midfielders during the closing stages of last week’s Europa League match.

BUT ZLATAN IS HAPPY AT UNITED
Overall, though, it’s understood that Ibrahimovic is enjoying life with the Red Devils.
Mitten adds that the superstar has settled into his new surroundings in England’s northwest.
After the international break, Zlatan will have the opportunity to cement his place in United folklore as Mourinho’s men go head-to-head with Liverpool at Anfield.
A goal in that fixture and Zlatan will never need to buy a drink in Manchester again
