Arsene Wenger appears to want to lure him away from their Premier League rivals.

Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a potential summer move for Manchester United defender Daley Blind, according to the Sunday People.
The Sunday People reports that new United boss Jose Mourinho is still considering whether the Netherlands international has a future under him at Old Trafford as he does not fit the mould for the usual type of centre-back that the Portuguese likes to work with.

Should he decide that Blind is free to go, the Gunners appear to have emerged as surprise contenders to bag his signature.
The 26-year-old would arguably be a good addition to Arsene Wenger's squad as they look to build on the promise they showed last season by signing the kind of players that will help them sustain a title bid for the entirety of the campaign.

Blind predominantly played at the heart of United's defence this past season, but he has the ability to play in several different roles, including left-back and holding midfield.
And with Wenger seemingly against the idea of making too many signings through fear of upsetting the balance within his squad, that versatility would arguably make him an excellent option as it would allow the Arsenal boss to add depth to several positions with just one signing.

Would Blind be a good signing for Arsenal?
