Manchester United have begun talks with Breel Embolo’s agent about the possibility of signing the Swiss star this summer, according to reports.
The Red Devils are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new players as Jose Mourinho gears up for first season in charge at Old Trafford.

Mourinho has already moved quickly to secure the services of defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal as his first signing.
Now, Sky Sport Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano is reporting that United have begun discussions with Embolo’s agent with a view to a summer transfer, but that they have not yet made contact with his club Basel.
Romano tweeted:
Manchester United started talks only with Breel Embolo agent. Not yet with Basel. Just to ask informations about his future.
United are looking to strengthen their squad after Mourinho was charged with restoring the Red Devils to the top of English football.

The club opted to appoint Mourinho after sacking Louis van Gaal at the end of last season, following their fifth-placed finish in the Premier League.
