Residents of Kiawara trading centre in Nyeri County woke up to shocking news on Tuesday after a woman stabbed her husband in a love triangle.
The woman identified as Alice Wangu, 30, had separated from her deceased husband Samuel Mwangi, 39, over domestic wrangles.
On Monday evening, Mr Mwangi paid his estranged wife a visit only to find her entertaining another man.
A violent confrontation ensued between the three before Ms Wangu picked a kitchen knife and stabbed Mr Mwangi in the chest killing him instantly.
Ms Wangu is said to have confessed the murder to her neighbour identified as Njoki. She was arrested and detained at Kiawara Police Station. Here’s the full report by Citizen TV: -
